About Tyler
Tyler started mowing lawns at fourteen with his dad's push mower and a hand-painted sign. By the time he graduated from Marysville High School, he had 40 weekly accounts and a used trailer.
Beckett Outdoor Co. has since moved away from mowing and into design-build landscaping: paver patios, retaining walls, outdoor kitchens, planting plans and drainage fixes. A lot of his work is in newer subdivisions, where the builder left behind a bare yard, a 10-by-10 slab and a sump line that empties onto the neighbor's lawn.
Tyler is 29, runs two crews, and sketches every design by hand before it goes into the software. He says clients can tell the difference. Ask him about base prep and he will talk for twenty minutes.
