About Priya
Priya ran accounts payable for an automotive supplier for nine years. She paid 3,000 invoices a month and learned exactly how money leaks out of a business: duplicate bills, forgotten subscriptions, and vendors who quietly raise their prices.
She started Ledgerwise in 2021. The firm does monthly bookkeeping, payroll reconciliation and catch-up work for contractors, retailers and service businesses in Union County and the western suburbs. Clients get a short video walkthrough of their numbers each month instead of a PDF they won't open.
Cleanup projects are her favorite. She once found a vendor that had double-billed a client for fourteen straight months, and she describes that week as the best of her career.
Priya grew up in Pune, moved to Marysville in 2011, and is never without a mechanical pencil.
