About Dwayne
Dwayne spent 18 years as a maintenance technician at an auto plant in Union County, keeping robots and conveyors running on third shift. In 2015 he opened Hollis Auto Care in a three-bay garage on the east side of Marysville.
The shop handles everything from brakes and diagnostics to hybrid battery work, and Dwayne is ASE Master certified. Every customer gets their old parts back in a bag, whether they want them or not, plus a text with photos of what was wrong. Rides to Uptown while you wait are free.
He is proudest of his apprenticeship program. Every other year he takes on a senior from the county career center, and three of them still work for him.
