About Vikram
Dr. Vikram Shah spent seven years as a physical therapist in a large Columbus hospital system, seeing patients for 20 minutes at a time while juggling three others. He opened Shah Physical Therapy in Plain City in 2023, partly because so many of his patients were driving half an hour each way for care.
Every session is a full hour, one-on-one, with the same therapist every time. The practice sees post-surgical patients (knees, hips and shoulders especially), runners, people with chronic back pain, and a steady stream of farm and trade injuries from lifting, climbing and years of hard work.
Vikram is a big believer in prehab, because patients who get stronger before a joint replacement tend to recover faster. He runs the Columbus Marathon every October and is always slightly injured.
